Today we’re going to talk about the three things you need to know before your next trip to the grocery store. 🛒

There’s a lot of confusion out there about non-organic conventional food, organic food, and GMO’s. 🤔

And it’s important you have a good understanding about the foods you eat.

You SHOULD question the food you eat, as it can greatly affect your health and total optimization. (Both in the short and long-term). 🍎

So what is “conventional” food?

Essentially, conventional food uses herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides. These are chemicals designed to kill bugs. 🐛

And guess what, you ingest these chemicals when you eat these foods.

Even if your food has been organically grown, you want to make sure that your food is as close to locally grown as possible. 🚜

What you do want to be aware of and AVOID are GMO foods.

Unfortunately, most foods that are GMO food are not labeled... 😤

However, there is a way to tell if it is by looking at the number code sticker.

All fresh fruits and vegetables have stickers on them with a number code on them. 🥕

I explain to you exactly what the numbers mean on the stickers so you can know if your food is non organic, organic, or GMO.
