The Metabolic Minute: Stop Stressing Over Things That Don't Matter

Now you haven't failed in life. You have a great career, family that loves you, and all that stuff. But you have failed in your health & fitness, probably dozens of times over at this point. And in my experience, that's often because of being WAY too focused on the minutia of getting healthy.

"I need to wait this many hours between each meal."

"I need this pre workout or I won't be able to work out today."

"I can't eat after this time every day."

"I'm not gonna have time to go to the gym so I'll just skip the workout altogether.

This fixation on doing everything exactly the 'right' way holds so many back, because it causes you to get tangled up in the details & miss the plot.

You're so worried about your fasting windows, that you don't even actually think about what you'll EAT. So now you break your fast with junk. But you fasted till 12 though, right?

It's things like this that make you think you're winning, till you look up in a month & you've made zero progress. Now you're frustrated and ready to quit.

But you were playing the wrong game all along..

The Takeaway: You'd be surprised how 'wrong' you can get the details, if you get the main things right. Eat all whole foods, and the time of day you eat starts to matter less & less. Walk 7-10k steps a day, and whether you do your cardio fasted or not becomes meaningless.

Focus on the big rocks. Real food, daily cardio, 3-5 days a week of strength training. You'll probably realize that nothing else matters after staying dialed in with these for long enough.
