Community Spotlight.

Laurie Papou, Vancouver, British Columbia

Laurie is a visual artist, content creator, and conservationist with a deep passion for all sentient beings. She shares Bird Buddy’s mission of fostering a closer connection between people and nature.

“The videos and photos captured by Bird Buddy provide a unique window into the world of birds, showcasing their behaviors and individual personalities,” Laurie explains. “I’m planning to create a series of large-scale bird portraits inspired by Bird Buddy footage. These paintings will emphasize the critical challenges birds face and their vital role in sustaining a healthy ecosystem.” How lucky are we to have such a caring, active (and talented) member in our community?
